Christopher, or CLIP, a nickname relic from his days in organized crime, is an aging dancer who is past the height of his professional dance career. Aging out of his art form as a professional performance artist, CLIP, having used dance to change the course of his life, is now faced with an uncertain future. Amongst this turmoil, a young friend, Stephen a talented street dancers, reaches out for help shadowing CLIPS very own shady past. Ramin Eshraghi-Yazdi is an award-winning Canadian BIPOC writer, producer and director from Calgary who's created everything from shorts to music videos, documentaries and sketch comedy. DROP is Ramin's debut feature narrative. We couldn't be more proud to showcase his film with our Calgary International Film Festival audience. Created on a very small budget, DROP fuses dance with a uniquely told crime drama, brought to life by a talented cast of local actors working on stage and screen.

Bullied as a young boy, Rowan is taught the ways of b-boying from a legendary street master and now travels the country on a quest to search out the top b-boys to battle and leave his mark. New to the city, Rowan arrives with one mission, to find the notorious dancer, Greyson.
